Affordable car rental in Buxton for a weekend trip?
Has anyone hired a car from Buxton recently? I'll be arriving by train and need to rent a car for about a week to explore the surrounding areas. Looking for recommendations on which companies have offices near the station, typical costs, and any tips for getting the best deal. Also, are there any particular models you'd recommend for the local roads?

I'd recommend checking out Sixt. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Kia Sportage from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.
