I'm planning a hiking trip to Oban next month and need to hire a car to access some of the trails. Does anyone have recommendations for reliable car hire companies in the area? Ideally looking for something affordable but reliable, and a car that can handle some rough tracks. Any tips on booking in advance vs. on arrival? Thanks!

I've found Green Motion to be the most reliable in the area. They're not always the cheapest, but their vehicles are newer and they don't hit you with unexpected charges at the end. Worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
