Minibus hire in Abergavenny for a group of 12 hikers?
Our hiking club is planning a weekend trip to Abergavenny with 12 members. We need to hire a minibus to get everyone around efficiently. Has anyone hired a minibus in this area before? Looking for recommendations on companies that offer self-drive minibus hire, approximate costs, and any requirements (special license needed?). Any tips would be much appreciated!

I've found Enterprise to be the most reliable in the area. They're not always the cheapest, but their vehicles are newer and they don't hit you with unexpected charges at the end. Worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
I'd recommend checking out Sixt. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Peugeot 3008 from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.
If you're looking for something budget-friendly, try Highland Motors. They're a local firm with good rates. The cars aren't the newest but they're reliable and perfect for exploring the area.
SDVH offers premium vehicle hire services in Abergavenny and throughout the UK with a range of options for all your hiking and outdoor activity transportation needs.
