Minibus hire in Carlisle for a group of 12 hikers?

Lisa Parker1 week ago702 viewsNorthern England

Our hiking club is planning a weekend trip to Carlisle with 12 members. We need to hire a minibus to get everyone around efficiently. Has anyone hired a minibus in this area before? Looking for recommendations on companies that offer self-drive minibus hire, approximate costs, and any requirements (special license needed?). Any tips would be much appreciated!

We had a good experience with Peak Rentals last year. They offer free delivery to your accommodation which was really convenient. Their staff were helpful and the booking process was straightforward.

I'd recommend checking out Local Wheels. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Renault Clio from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.

If you're looking for something budget-friendly, try Local Wheels. They're a local firm with good rates. The cars aren't the newest but they're reliable and perfect for exploring the area.
