Minibus hire in Inverness for a group of 12 hikers?

David Williams1 month ago218 viewsScottish Highlands

Our hiking club is planning a weekend trip to Inverness with 12 members. We need to hire a minibus to get everyone around efficiently. Has anyone hired a minibus in this area before? Looking for recommendations on companies that offer self-drive minibus hire, approximate costs, and any requirements (special license needed?). Any tips would be much appreciated!

I'd recommend checking out Sixt. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Kia Sportage from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.

If you're looking for something budget-friendly, try Peak Rentals. They're a local firm with good rates. The cars aren't the newest but they're reliable and perfect for exploring the area.

We had a good experience with Highland Motors last year. They offer free delivery to your accommodation which was really convenient. Their staff were helpful and the booking process was straightforward.
