Minibus hire in Inverness for a group of 12 hikers?
Our hiking club is planning a weekend trip to Inverness with 12 members. We need to hire a minibus to get everyone around efficiently. Has anyone hired a minibus in this area before? Looking for recommendations on companies that offer self-drive minibus hire, approximate costs, and any requirements (special license needed?). Any tips would be much appreciated!

I'd recommend checking out Avis. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Ford Focus from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.
We had a good experience with Thrifty last year. They offer free delivery to your accommodation which was really convenient. Their staff were helpful and the booking process was straightforward.
I've found Lake District Hire to be the most reliable in the area. They're not always the cheapest, but their vehicles are newer and they don't hit you with unexpected charges at the end. Worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
SDVH offers premium vehicle hire services in Inverness and throughout the UK with a range of options for all your hiking and outdoor activity transportation needs.
