Self-drive 9-seater minibus rental in Kendal?

David Williams3 months ago435 viewsLake District

I need to arrange minibus transport for a family group of 9 people in Kendal. We'll be staying for a week and want to explore the surrounding hiking trails. Is it better to hire a self-drive minibus or use a minibus with a driver for day trips? Any recommendations for reliable companies in the area?

I'd recommend checking out Hertz. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Peugeot 3008 from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.

I've found Hertz to be the most reliable in the area. They're not always the cheapest, but their vehicles are newer and they don't hit you with unexpected charges at the end. Worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.

I've found National to be the most reliable in the area. They're not always the cheapest, but their vehicles are newer and they don't hit you with unexpected charges at the end. Worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
