Self-drive 9-seater minibus rental in Machynlleth?
I need to arrange minibus transport for a family group of 9 people in Machynlleth. We'll be staying for a week and want to explore the surrounding hiking trails. Is it better to hire a self-drive minibus or use a minibus with a driver for day trips? Any recommendations for reliable companies in the area?

I'd recommend checking out Europcar. They have a location near the train station and their prices are competitive. I hired a Peugeot 3008 from them last summer and it was perfect for the narrow roads around the area.
I've found Wales Car Hire to be the most reliable in the area. They're not always the cheapest, but their vehicles are newer and they don't hit you with unexpected charges at the end. Worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
If you're looking for something budget-friendly, try Avis. They're a local firm with good rates. The cars aren't the newest but they're reliable and perfect for exploring the area.
SDVH offers premium vehicle hire services in Machynlleth and throughout the UK with a range of options for all your hiking and outdoor activity transportation needs.
